Tim Sykes And Adam Feuerstein Get Into Spat

Penny stock guru Tim Sykes and TheStreet.com's biotech columnist Adam Feuerstein got into a little bit of a spat over Twitter today. Sykes has criticized Jim Cramer for not having a successful track record, and apparently Feuerstein took exception. It appears that Feuerstein tweeted to Sykes about a negative article he had written about Cramer, "Memo to @timothysykes -- @jimcramer is not your "boy." When you earn a fraction of the respect he deserves, you can talk. Until then STFU." Sykes then tweeted back, "@adamfeuerstein boy was a compliment, @jimcramer is a baby when it comes to transparency, performance & education, just a sad old clown." The subsequent response from Feuerstein was, "@timothysykes u're the clown. A shameless, arrogant self-promoter hawking penny stock trading DVDs. I feel sad 4 u, u'll never be respected." Apparently Sykes was in at least partial agreement with this assessment. He tweeted back, "@adamfeuerstein arrogant & shameless yes, respect i care less, focused on helping others learn/earn, watch a DVD or 10 before criticizing." This was followed up with two other tweets by Sykes, who said "@adamfeuerstein I was up 17% 2Q, 40% in 2010, 140% in 2009, 197% in 2008, every trade detailed, what are @jimcramer 's numbers? BRING IT," and "@jimcramer he's the rich one, i'm just working class -- he'll tell us how to get bigtime w/o having good performance." Sykes has also been talking about the argument on Livestock.
