Mark Cuban Says LeBron James Needs Media Training

Mark Cuban isn't pleased with LeBron James' jump to the Miami Heat. In a more or less ambushed interview with TMZ, Cuban was asked how he feels about the NBA star's decision to sign with Miami. "Terrible," he laughed and continued, "Two words: media training." And it's easy to tell from the video of the exchange on TMZ that Cuban knows about how to handle the media. He smiles and answers the reporter's questions, even though it appeared he was on his way somewhere. The video showed him signing autographs of fans that came up to him on the street -- and doing it happily. When a security guard asked if he wanted an escort, he responded, "Yes, please." This is quite the contrast from most celebrities, who seem not to comprehend the importance of a strong relationship with the media and their fans. And judging by this exchange, that's something Mark Cuban understands very well. Maybe LeBron should heed his advice.
