The details are thin, but Index Ventures is reportedly leading a very cool venture capital deal. According to Business Insider, it's the top dog in a round of financing for online retailer Nasty Girl. The company, with 50 employees, sells ‘vintage' clothing over the web. Rumor has it Nasty Girl hit a top line of $30 mn in 2011, with an astounding $8 mn in profit. Business Insider adds, ‘Investors were dying to give [CEO Sophia] Amoruso money.'
Following the venture capital round, Nasty Girl is rumored to have a valuation of $60 to $80 mn.
