Here's Another 99% Whiner Who Needs a Reality Check

We Are the 99 Percent is fast becoming my favorite source of entertainment. While some the pictures are genuine, thought-out, well-spelled and touching, the majority are of spoiled brats with absolutely no concept of reality. Like this young lady.

So, what do we have here? A 20 year old still at home who can't mooch off mom's health insurance and - OH GOD! - is "forced" to take birth control because she can't afford a family. Right. Try not fucking people, it works wonders for keeping the kids at bay, sweetheart.

When I was 18, I packed the hell up and got the hell out. You know, like 18 year olds do. I took my tax refund check and bought a one-way bus ticket to Reno, Nevada, packed two backpacks and found an apartment in the Sunday newspaper the morning I got to town. I think I paid $250 in rent (granted, this was in 1999), and lived with a weird sign-maker/bounty hunter who was sleeping with this married chick but damnit, I was on my own and it was awesome. I am by no means a model citizen but at least I got then what kids are supposed to do when they're old enough to vote.

The saddest part is these people have absolutely no clue how ridiculous they are.

Do you really hate capitalism? Who do you have to thank for whatever computer program you used to turn your shitty photo into lame retro? Who made the damn sticky note in your hand?

I mean let's not even start on the fact that they obviously have Internet connections and webcam-enabled computers if they're taking pictures of themselves to send to the site. I get that it's hard out there but really? Try real sacrifice and call me the fuck back when you're ready to be serious.
