CyberArk Software Ltd CYBR shares were trading higher by $4.00 (6.6 percent) at $68.28 in Friday's session. The security software company has more than doubled in price since January 29, when it bottomed at $33.00.
There have been a few catalysts for the big rally. The first being a recent attack on the New York City email system. More importantly, the issue is rallying off a Q4 blowout for earnings.
On February 12, the company announced a Q4 beat of $0.16 ($0.21 vs. $0.05) on much better-than-expected sales ($36.3 million vs. $27 million). The huge beat rallied the issue from $45.69 to $52.52 the following session.
The upward momentum has continued and the issue has traded higher and made a new all-time high in each of the previous eight sessions.
CyberArk Software debuted in September of last year and has tripled since making the low $22.12 on its first day of trading on September 24.
