According to theHill.com, wireless startup LightSquared, which is being financed in large part by Philip Falcone's hedge fund Harbinger Capital, has objected to the public disclosure of several of its filings with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).
The filings were requested under the Freedom of Information Act by the Hill and several other media outlets. The company has asked that the FCC either suppress the documents or release only redacted versions.
