Developer TiMi Studio Group and publisher Activision have reassured fans that Call of Duty: Mobile will continue to thrive despite the removal of popular maps like Shoot House and Alcatraz.
Addressing concerns about the game's future in light of the impending launch of Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile, the official X/Twitter account announced: "We wanted to let you know that Shoot House and Alcatraz will soon be leaving Call of Duty: Mobile."

"This is not permanent, both will be returning later this year, rotating in and out each season like other playlists in the game," they added.
Additionally, the team confirmed that new content is still planned for future seasons, although specific details were not disclosed.
There had been fears among fans that Call of Duty: Mobile might be abandoned once Warzone Mobile arrived, offering players the chance to experience iconic battle royale maps like Verdansk and Rebirth Island on mobile devices.
The reimagined Alcatraz map in Warzone Mobile raised concerns among fans, compounded by the fact that Shoot House would also feature in the new game.
However, the developers clarified that the removal of maps from Call of Duty: Mobile is not permanent and that the game will continue to receive updates and support. Despite initial worries, fans can expect the mobile version of Call of Duty to remain a vibrant and evolving gaming experience.
Meanwhile, Warzone Mobile is set to officially launch worldwide on iOS and Android devices on March 21, 2024.
