Pizza Scented Xbox Controllers Are A Thing Now Thanks To A 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' Limited Edition

Zinger Key Points
  • Paramount Pictures and Xbox are offering fans a chance to win TMNT pizza-scented Xbox controllers.
  • Controllers come in four Turtle-inspired variations and giveaway runs from July 24 to Aug. 13.

Paramount Global PARA and Microsoft Corporation MSFT have teamed up for a unique promotional offer: Fans have a chance to win a Ninja Turtle-themed XBox Wireless Controller that smells like pizza.

The launch of these controllers comes ahead of the release of the Paramount Pictures movie "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem" in August.

The limited-edition Xbox Wireless Controllers have been designed with a built-in scent diffuser, shaped like a slice of New York-style pizza, an homage to the beloved Turtle characters' favorite food.

The diffuser delivers an authentic aroma during gameplay. The controllers are available in four variations, each representing the signature colors, weapons, and personalities of the Turtle brothers: Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo.

Fans interested in obtaining one of these exclusive controllers can participate in the giveaway by following Xbox Game Pass on Twitter and retweeting the official Xbox Game Pass sweepstakes tweet. The giveaway period will be from July 24 to Aug. 13, 2023.

For those in New York City, an in-person event will be held at the Microsoft Experience Center on Fifth Avenue from 4-7 pm ET on Aug. 2. Attendees will have the opportunity to check out the pizza-scented controllers and engage in gaming activities.
