Plane Crash In Pakistan, No Survivors

A horrific plane crash in Pakistan yesterday killed all 152 passengers on board. Rescue teams were immediately sent to the crash site, as army helicopters looked over the Margalla Hills to determine if there were any survivors. Nadeem Ahmad, who is the head of the National Disaster Management Authority, said the harsh landscape of the region and terrible weather were hindering rescue efforts. "I have been on the site and saw things very closely. To me, the chances of survivors are extremely difficult," Nadeem said. "But we have not been able to evacuate any of the people so far because, one, we are stuck with the bad weather, second, the area has absolutely no access, it is all ridge line which as about 90-degree gradient and there is no access track and road." Right now it is too early to say what caused the crash without doing a full investigation.
