alltemp(R) Core Technology Used in New R-410A Replacement Refrigerant

WESTLAKE VILLAGE, CA / ACCESSWIRE / April 2, 2018 / Alltemp, Inc. (OTCQB: LTMP), a developer of proprietary, environmentally friendly refrigerant technologies, today announced the start of field trials for its new R-410A replacement refrigerant, designated alltemp® H.

Like Alltemp's other refrigerants, alltemp® H is engineered to utilize the same anti-corrosive and non-flammable alltemp® core technology that provides considerable energy efficiencies and meets ASHRAE A1 safety classification standards.

The Company commenced formulation of alltemp® H in late 2017, field tests are scheduled to continue into the second quarter of 2018.

Approximately two-thirds of all U.S. homes are air-conditioned and R-410A refrigerant is most commonly used in residential air conditioning, with approximately 6 million additional new units being sold in the U.S. market every year.

According to a global overview and analysis conducted by Building Services Research and Information Association (BSRIA), an estimated 701,147,156 lbs. of R-410a refrigerant were sold in 2017.

R-410A was designed to replace R-22, which has a significant environmental impact and Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP). The lower the GWP value, the better the refrigerant is for the environment. R-410A has a Global Warming Potential (GWP) rating of 2,088, where it's predecessor, R-22 has a GWP rating of 1700. Higher GWP values are at odds with most environmental legislation. While R-410A's ODP rating is zero, its Global Warming Potential is 22% higher than R-22, making it potentially worse for the environment and a candidate for phase-out. By meeting or exceeding the strictest guidelines, alltemp® ensures that vital R-410A equipment will be usable, compliant and functional for years to come.

"We are committed to developing the safest, most efficient, and environmentally friendly products, so our alltemp® H replacement refrigerant is a key milestone for our multi-pronged strategy. With field tests, as well as our continued research and development going as anticipated, we believe that alltemp® H will allow Alltemp to aggressively target the global R-410A market, with a nonflammable energy-saving alternative," said William Lopshire, Alltemp CEO.
