USD/CAD is trading at 1.3433, up 0.0021. The pair is trading just under the session highs. Canada's Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) is scheduled to release Canadian housing starts at 8:15 a.m. ET. Statistics Canada is set to release Canadian Building Permit figures at 8:30 a.m. ET.
