Tetra Tech Celebrates 50th Anniversary

PASADENA, CA --(Marketwired - July 28, 2016) - Tetra Tech, Inc. TTEK commemorated the 50th Anniversary of its founding with celebrations in offices across the globe on July 28, 2016.

On this day fifty years ago, four entrepreneurial leaders formed Tetra Tech to provide innovative solutions in the areas of coastal engineering, research and development, geophysics, and systems analysis. Since 1966, Tetra Tech has grown from four technical experts to a global firm with 16,000 employees working in more than 400 offices around the world. Today, the company provides full lifecycle support in the water, environment, infrastructure, resource management, energy, and international development sectors.

As part of its 50-year celebration, Tetra Tech recently announced its Global Clean Water Fund grant program in partnership with the international organization Engineers Without Borders. This fund will provide financial and technical support for six projects that assist remote communities around the world obtain access to clean water.

In honor of the company's 50th Anniversary, celebration activities took place in Tetra Tech locations around the world. Celebrations began in the Auckland, New Zealand, offices of Coffey International, the newest member of the Tetra Tech family. The festivities then traveled across Australia, Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Europe, and Africa. Across the Atlantic, Tetra Tech's Brazil offices kicked off celebrations in the Americas, with similar celebrations occurring in Canada and the United States. Tetra Tech's final anniversary event occurred in its western most location of Honolulu, Hawaii.
