Lean Hog Futures Little Changed

July Lean hogs are trading at 81.00, down 0.05 cents/lb. August lean hogs are trading at 79.97, down 0.15 cents/lb and October lean hogs are trading at 69.22, down 0.25 cents /lb. Lean hog futures are trading near unchanged just after the open Friday morning. The USDA reported today that pork weekly export sales for the period ending June 30th totaled 16,200 tonnes. Sales were down 22 percent from the previous week and up 2 percent from the four week average.
