Walt Disney Co DIS slumped heavily on Wednesday on back of the company reporting mixed quarterly earnings after the closing bell on Tuesday. The company announced EPS of $1.45 on revenue of $13.1 billion, analysts were expecting the company to report EPS of $1.42 on revenue of $13.23 billion.

Ivan Feinseth, Tigress Financial Partners, was on CNBC recently to weigh in on Disney's earnings and what makes the stock a great buy right now.

Shocked It's Down

"I think, it's a huge buying opportunity, " Feinseth began. "I am actually shocked it's down, but I have often said you never buy a stock for what just happened, you buy a stock for what's going to happen over the next few years."

Feinseth was asked what he thinks is going to happen with Disney. He replied, "What's going to happen is they have the best movie library ever. They have the key sweet spot in action and adventure. They have more billion dollar franchises and tonnes of movies to come plus action adventure produces the most licensing revenue."

"I mean you are never going to have a Harry Met Sally action figure or lunchbox, but the ability to license Marvel and Star Wars content is unbelievable."

ESPN Is In The Sweet Spot

I think, here is the key thing with ESPN, as technology allows consumers to negate commercials, some of the most valuable content will be live produced programming such as news and sports. Plus sports has the most engaged audience; both they are usually watching sports on TV, interacting over the computer. So, I think, that ESPN is in the sweet spot.

At the time of this writing, Disney shares were tarding down 7.88 percent.
