AMD has seen a bit of a drop off over the last week of 2016. The fall started on Wednesday, where the price dropped nearly a dollar after market open. Since then, the price has fallen more than 8 percent. By Thursday's market close, the price slowly crept up and ended the day at $11.59.
Despite this, AMD is set to ended the year strong. In December, the company received a slew of analyst upgrades from Bank of America and Mizuho, who appraised the stock at a Buy.
