A 'Walking Dead' Theme Park Attraction Will Be Here Soon
Universal Studios Hollywood will throw a Fourth of July party for the un-dead. The park will finally open for the public its "The Walking Dead" attraction on the holiday Monday and, in anticipation of the event, has released a video showing how special effects wiz, executive producer and director Greg Nicotero "helped bring the show’s post-apocalyptic world to life for an experience that’s sure to follow you home."

AMC Networks Inc (NASDAQ: AMCX)'s "The Walking Dead" and its characters have been a part of Universal Studios' Halloween festivities for several years now. However, guests were asking for more. This is why the park has decided to offer a year-round attraction where people get to escape from real-life and animatronic zombies every day. But, bare in mind, if you want to take your children or nephews along, make sure they're at least 13 years old.
Analysts at Jefferies recently estimated the "The Walking Dead" franchise will generate more than $260 million in advertising revenue in 2016, or roughly 26 percent of the year's estimated National Networks advertising revenue at AMC Networks.
