In a report published Thursday, Compass Point analyst Michael Tarkan reiterated a Neutral rating on Apollo Education Group APOL, and raised the price target from $30.00 to $33.00.
In the report, Compass Point noted, “We are maintaining our Neutral rating on APOL shares and are raising our price target to $33, from $30, after the company reported steady 3Q14 earnings, highlighted by a second consecutive YOY deceleration in new start declines. Although enrollment pressure appears to be slowly decelerating, we expect overall demand to remain relatively weak over the near- and intermediate-term driven by a mix of recruiting and regulatory challenges. However, we continue to expect the company's capital and expense flexibility will provide support to shares over the next 12 months.”
Apollo Education Group closed on Wednesday at $31.08.
