In a research note released Monday, Morgan Stanley analyst Simeon Gutman initiated coverage on Williams-Sonoma (NYSE: WSM) with an Overweight rating and an $82 price target.

The analyst believes that the company is, “among the best-positioned names in our coverage as it is well equipped for the current economic recovery and emerging omni-channel transition.”

In addition, Gutman believes that the company will continue to report earnings per share on the upside. The analyst has issued an EPS estimate of $3.73, three percent higher than consensus estimates.

The analyst is also seeing the Williams-Sonoma namesake brand “emerging in 2015” in both physical stores and online.

Shares of the company are up 1.44 percent.
