UPDATE: Guggenheim's Second Upgrade On Travelers Companies In 2014

Shares of Travelers Companies, Inc. (NYSE: TRV) jumped approximately one percent on Monday, May 12, 2014 after Guggenheim upgraded the stock.

The research was led by Bijan Mozami, CFA, and the firm upgarded the company for the second time this year, from Neutral to Buy.

The firm cited this, “We see many underlying dynamics that are improving the company's earnings and growth outlook in both business Insurance and personal lines.”

In addition, the firm believes that the outlook for business insurance at TRV is ameliorating.

The firm continued to state, “These buybacks are highly accretive to earnings and we expect them to continue to be significant.” This was in response to the number of share repurchases at Travelers.
