Morgan Stanley analyst Ehud Gelblum issued a research note Tuesday morning suggesting Blackberry BBRY will report inline or better-than-expected shipments of BB10 devices when the company reports Q1 results later this week.
The analyst boosted his BB10 shipment estimate for the quarter from 3 million to 3.5 million units.
Gelblum sees BB7 shipments declining at an accelerating pace and becoming less relevant to consumers.
Shares of BlackBerry have opened for trade up about 1.8 percent to $14.35.
