In a report published on Monday, Piper Jaffray analyst Michael J. Olson reiterated a Neutral rating and a price target of $194 on Netflix NFLX.
In the report, Piper Jaffray stated, "The most direct competitors to Netflix are services offering similar online video subscriptions. Our comparison of the streaming movie/TV libraries of Netflix, Amazon Prime Instant Videos, Redbox Instant, and Hulu Plus, suggests all of the services have room to improve, but Netflix continues to have the best overall movie/TV subscription streaming library. We expect Netflix will increase its focus on original programming and may, therefore, choose to not license certain non-exclusive content in the future. Given Netflix maintains an overall content library lead and is adding quality content in the coming months/years (original and exclusive studio deals), we continue to remain positive on the service's ability to maintain competitive differentiation."
Netflix closed on Friday at $216.90.
