Beacon Rock Research Comments on Redstar Gold

Beacon Rock Research provided analysis and color on Redstar Gold ("RGC") today after the company reported additional high-grade gold results from its Ontario Red Lake Gold Camp on the Newman Todd property. In the report, Beacon Rock Research notes the following:

"Redstar continues to report excellent drill results along the Newman Todd trend, which has a 2.2 kilometer strike length, of which 1.8 kilometers has been drill tested. Prior to 2011, historical drilling had identified 5 areas of mineralization within the structure. Results from stepout and infill drilling over the past year in the corridor, suggests anomalous gold along the entire strike length, in addition to pods of high grade mineralization. In addition, Redstar has been successful in edging deeper, encountering gold to about 400 meters. While there is increasing likelihood of connecting the zones, the greatest potential for the Newman Todd project would be to identify potential high grade feeder zones at depth, reminiscent of Goldcorp Inc.'s GG great deep gold mines in the Red Lake Gold Camp."

In Redstar Gold's current Newman Todd program, 51 holes have been completed for a total of 78 holes and over 30,000 meters, according to Beacon Rock's report. In the report, Beacon Rock states, "The highest grades to date were found in recently reported drill hole NT-083 at a depth of 251.7 meters, intersecting a 0.60 meter intercept grading 343.0 g/t gold, the highest at the Newman Todd project and one of the highest in the Red Lake Gold Camp outside of mine areas." Beacon Rock also provided summary information regarding Redstar's active drill sites and projects, including the company's continuation of advancement in its Nevada properties and its May acquisition of the Unga Epithermal Gold Project in Alaska.
