UPDATE: Morgan Keegan Raises PT on OPNET Technologies to $50

Morgan Keegan has reiterated its Outperform rating on OPNET Technologies, Inc. OPNT and raised its price target for the stock to $50 from previous $45 per share on checks pointing to stronger 2Q12. Morgan Keegan concluded, “We believe secular trends in the APM (Application Performance Monitoring) market remain healthy and sense that OPNET continues to gain share from larger competitors including CA, BMC and Quest. …An increasing need for performance monitoring tools in light of rapid change in IT infrastructure driven by virtualization, data center consolidation and private and public cloud computing is fueling increased awareness for APM and we believe that OPNET remains positioned as a "best of breed" vendor in this emerging growth opportunity. For 2Q12, we anticipate results ahead of consensus expectations, which call for revenue of $43.2 million and $0.24.” OPNT closed Monday's trading at $46,65 per share.
