Steve Jobs' Death is a "Tremendous Loss and a Sad Day" for Apple, But the Company is "Prepared to Move On"

“I think the brand is very strong and the quality of people is very strong,” says Crowell, Weedon & Co.'s James D. Ragan. Ragan, a senior equity analyst, told Benzinga that this was obviously a tremendous loss and a sad day. But from a company standpoint, he thinks that Apple AAPL did a good job this year indicating that Jobs' health was deteriorating. “The company is prepared to move on without him,” said Ragan. “I think there's a product road map for the next few years.” Other analysts agree. “[There is a] lot of growth left at Apple,” said Ragan, adding that the international market is just being tapped. “[The] stock is still relatively undervalued.” Follow me @LouisBedigian
