Dahlman Rose Has Notes On Gold Sector

Dahlman Rose & Co. has some notes on the gold sector in its Drill Bits Weekly report. In the report, it covers such companies as Goldcorp GG, Barrick Gold ABX, and Novagold NG. All three companies are rated at Hold by Dahlman Rose. In the research report, Dahlman Rose writes, "Late last week, Great Basin Gold Ltd. announced a revised mineral resource estimate for the Company's Hollister Project in Nevada, USA. At a cut-off grade of 0.25 oz/ton (8.57 g/t Au), the combined measured and indicated mineral resources contain 1.64 million gold equivalent ounces grading 1.305 oz/ton (44.73 g/t Au) for gold and 10.3 oz/ton (355 g/t) for silver, an increase of 14% compared to 1.44 million ounces in 2009."
