In a report released this morning, Citigroup says that while Amkor Technology, Inc.'s AMKR FQ4 outlook (rev -5% to-10% Q/Q) is in-line with its model, the company is worse off than its peers (flat to slightly down by ASE/SPIL) and could raise concern over share loss.
“Looking a bit deeper, we conclude that the seasonal gaming console IC decline attributed ~5% of the downside meaning the remainder of its business is trending similar w/peers,” Citigroup writes. “Nevertheless, we would expect the stock to trade off as margins are also coming under pressure due to mix.”
Amkor Technology currently trades at $7.38.
