Analysts at Jeffries & Co. see near-term positives for the oil and gas services, namely GulfMark Offshore (

). As for GLF, Jeffries states that second quarter results will likely be in-line with the possibility of a slight beat. Analysts believe that "HOS has a "good chance of beating our 2Q estimates of $0.08 and FC of $0.12 given HOS' involvement in oil spill and relief efforts." Both HOS and GLF report prior to the opening bell on July 29, 2010.
