Entrepreneurs, Creatives Invited to Pitch Day at Dunnamic, Interactive Design Studio Funded by Novotorium

Entrepreneurs and creative professionals have opportunity to pitch creative innovative ideas to Dunnamic's interactive team, according to Stuart Segal.

Langhorne, PA (PRWEB) July 17, 2013

Entrepreneurs and creative professionals who are developing apps, web-based businesses, video games, web comics, graphic novels, televisions shows, desktop games, novels, short stories and web comics will find a receptive and collaborative team at interactive studio Dunnamic at its second annual Pitch Day, July 26, according to Stuart Segal, managing director of Novotorium, a business incubator which is funding and developing Dunnamic.

“Dunnamic founder Meg Dunn and her team are tremendously talented,” said Segal. “This is a great opportunity for collaboration and development of ideas that may help spark creative progress to the next level, and perhaps may even lead to new business relationships.”

“Opportunity” is what pitch day is all about, according to Dunn, founder of Dunnamic.

“We work on a variety of creative interactive projects for our clients every day,” she said. “In our personal lives, our team members have a variety of creative talents – such as writing, illustrating, painting and music. We're also very entrepreneurial and like to collaborate with other people who are also building businesses around their innovative ideas.”

Dunnamic decided to hold this public pitch day after holding a similar event earlier this year with selected clients, friends and business associates. This pitch day will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Friday, July 26, at Dunnamic offices, 1262 Wood Lane, Langhorne, PA.

The event will be held as an open house for anyone who would like to drop in to hear pitches on innovative projects. Those who wish to pitch their idea to get feedback or consideration of partnering should apply for one of a limited number of time slots by going to http://www.dunnamic.com/pitch. Complete information about the event is available via that link.

Novotorium is sponsoring the event and providing refreshments for participants.

Novotorium funded Dunnamic in May, based in part on innovative work the company is doing in medical animation used within a patient education and care management system it is developing. Dunnamic develops a wide range of creative projects, including commercial and industrial animation, music videos, medical animation, and video games. Some of their work can be seen at http://www.Dunnamic.com/work.

Dunnamic was founded in 2010 by Meaghan Dunn, an interactive designer with degrees in both science and art.

“We create products ranging from television commercials, to industrial animations, to video games, to cartoons, to educational animations,” Dunn said. “We've been making tremendous strides in developing our own products, as well. With the investment from Novotorium and access to the incubator's services and resources, we will have the opportunity to significantly accelerate our growth.”

“While I encourage all interested entrepreneurs and creatives to attend, Novotorium will be especially interested in talking about funding and incubation opportunities with those working in health, wellness and nutrition businesses,” Segal said.

As a business incubator, Novotorium invests in businesses and provides a range of services such as strategic guidance, advice from subject matter experts among Novotorium's partners and business planning services. Novotorium also offers access to tactical business resources such as a call center, a data center, technology development and marketing services.

Novotorium offers selected startups a sliding scale of initial investment amounts between $5,000 and $250,000, with Novotorium's equity position in startups based on business fundamentals rather than preset investment amounts and equity targets. In addition, Novotorium utilizes a variety of investment structures including preferred shares, common shares and convertible debt.
