The adjustment of cone crusher throat

In the continuous crushing process of the cone crusher, the liner plate is worn continuously, thus making the throat bigger and bigger gradually. To guarantee certain production granularity, its throat needs to be adjusted constantly. So how to adjust the throat of the cone crusher? Please read the following article.

1.Decrease the throat by improving the crushing cone. Firstly, take the nut of the beam down, then twist the hoisting ring into the screw hole of the principle axis of the crushing cone.

2.Lift the crushing cone up by the crane, and the lifting height should be 5 millimeters to 15 millimeters higher than the expected height.

3.After lifting up the crushing cone, twist the bolt down to press the pressing sleeve and the taper sleeve down, then send the bolt back.

4.Take the key down and twist the nut down until it contacts with the nut. Then measure the width of the cone crusher throat.

5.After reaching the specified requirements, add the lubricating oil fully. At last, install the cap, and the throat adjustment is finished.
