According to a report from WinRumors, Verizon Wireless is planning on launching its first Windows Phone 7 device in late March. Windows Phone 7 first arrived on GSM networks (AT&T+T-Mobile) in November of 2010, with devices for CDMA networks (Sprint+Verizon) scheduled to come out in the first quarter of 2011. Sprint announced their first Windows Phone 7 device yesterday, the HTC Arrive.

Verizon is reportedly planning to announce their first Windows Phone 7 device as soon as this Monday, February 28th. The carrier will likely introduce the HTC 7 Trophy smartphone for $200 on a new two-year contract.

Verizon's HTC 7 Trophy will likely ship with Microsoft's first major Windows Phone 7 update, which adds support for copy+paste functionalities.
