Jenny Van Leeuwen Harrington, chief executive officer of Gilman Hill Asset Management, LLC, said Amcor plc (NYSE:AMCR) reported great quarterly earnings and has a 5.5% yield.
Amcor, on Feb. 3, reported second-quarter earnings of 86 cents per share, which beat the analyst consensus estimate of 85 cents per share. The company reported quarterly sales of $5.449 billion, which missed the analyst consensus estimate of $5.576 billion.

Lending support to his choice, Emerson Electric, on Tuesday, reported better-than-expected first-quarter adjusted EPS results and raised its FY26 EPS guidance. Emerson Electric reported quarterly earnings of $1.46 per share, which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $1.41 per share. The company reported quarterly sales of $4.346 billion compared to the analyst consensus estimate of $4.347 billion.
