Berkshire Hathaway, Valero Energy And A Major US Bank: CNBC's 'Final Trades'

On CNBC’s "Halftime Report Final Trades," Jim Lebenthal of Cerity Partners said Berkshire Hathaway Inc. (NYSE: BRK-A) (NYSE: BRK-B) is "firing on all cylinders."

Warren Buffet's Berkshire Hathaway posted a profit $35.9 billion in the second quarter, compared to a year-ago loss of $43.6 billion.

Jason Snipe of Odyssey Capital Advisors named Morgan Stanley MS, saying, "you could own this name."

Joseph Terranova of Virtus Investment Partners named Valero Energy Corporation VLO, which is trading at around $129.

Valero Energy reported second-quarter 2023 revenues of $34.5 billion, beating the consensus of $34.37 billion.
