Man arrested after he called 911 five times to discuss his iPhone

According to The Smoking Gun, an Illinois man was arrested on November 9 following him calling 911 five times to complain about his broken iPhone. According to the police report that was filed shortly after the indecent, Michael Alan Skopec was intoxicated when the police arrived to arrest him in the early morning hours.

Cops traced the calls to Skopec's home, where he was arrested around 1 AM yesterday when he “refused to comply with orders from deputies,” according to a sheriff's spokesperson. Skopec, pictured in the above mug shot, was charged with obstructing or resisting a peace officer, a misdemeanor.

We're not really sure what Skopec thought the police could do with his broken iPhone, but hopefully someone will get that information. Skopec has since been released and is due back in court on November 18.
