Release Candidate of Adobe Flash Player 11 Released for Testing

The first beta version of Adobe Flash Player 11 was released this past July for testing. Flash Player 11 includes several improvements to the software, including new API's, improved 64-bit support across all platforms, and improved HD sound quality.

Yesterday, Adobe seeded the Release Candidate (a.k.a. "RC") build of Flash Player 11 for testing. The build, which is likely going to be the final shipping version unless there is a major issue found, carries the build number 11.0.r1.129.

Adobe Flash Player 11 Release Candidate is available for download from the Adobe Labs here: http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/flashplayer11.html. Even though this is likely going to be the final shipping version, hence the RC, we don't recommend installing this on your everyday computer as some issues may still be present.
