Bally Technologies Highlights Innovation and Customer Partnership at International Gaming Expo (IGE) in London January 26-28

LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

Bally Technologies, Inc. BYI, a leader in slots, video machines, and casino-management systems for the global gaming industry, will present an extensive assortment of systems, games, and server-based technology at the International Gaming Expo (IGE) in London Jan. 26 – 28, 2010.

“We’re excited to continue our prominent presence at the IGE show and highlight our growing portfolio of games and systems technology for the European market,” said John Connelly, Bally’s Vice President – International. “Many of the new games, systems, and server-based technologies that we are showcasing were designed specifically to meet the needs of the international market, which is one of the fastest-growing segments of our business.”

Expanding Games Portfolio on Display

As evidence of its pledge to increase its games portfolio by 100 percent in fiscal 2010, Bally will feature an extensive array of new video and mechanical-reel slots for the global gaming market in its adjacent stands, 3540 and 3550, totaling approximately 300 sq. meters. The Company will feature more than 67 games for Class III, Class II, central determination, and video lottery (VLT) markets worldwide.

New Pro Series Slant Cabinet Features Sleek Design

Bally will introduce its sleek new Pro Series Slant-Top cabinet to the international gaming market at the IGE show. The Pro Series Slant provides video slot and video poker players with a new level of comfort and engagement. The video display and armrests are slanted at the ideal angles for optimal player comfort, thereby reducing fatigue and enhancing player enjoyment. A 26-inch LCD display eliminates traditional top glass, and is perfect for progressive and other top-box features. Bally’s Slant features dimensions designed to improve sight lines on the casino floor. Bally’s Pro Series Slant is RoHS compliant and has an energy-approval rating from a nationally recognized testing lab, making it the most eco-friendly of all Bally cabinets.

Spinning Wheel Games Attract

Bally will also showcase new games from its SpinNation™ series of spinning-wheel video and mechanical-reel slots: Cash Spin, Vegas Hits™, and Hot Shot Cash Wheel Progressive™. Cash Spin and Vegas Hits feature Bally’s award-winning U-Spin™ technology, allowing players to spin a virtual wheel on the display backward, forward, slow, or fast as if it was an actual physical spinning wheel.

Towering V32 Video Cabinets Deliver High Visibility

Bally’s incomparable ALPHA Elite V32 platform will also see an abundance of new game titles designed to take advantage of this nearly six-foot tall gaming platform. V32 titles on display at IGE include Reel Money Scatter™ and the new Magic Money™ series, which features three new game titles: Wizard’s Wreath™, Golden Scepter™, and Ring of Riches™.

Impressive Digital Tower Series™ Games Highlighted

With their towering digital top boxes, dramatic animations, surround-sound audio, and thrilling game play, Bally’s Digital Tower Series video slots are magnets of excitement. Two of Bally’s most successful Digital Tower Series titles − Fireball™ and 77777 Jackpot™ − will be prominently featured.

Core Video Library Expands

Bally will also present an expanded lineup of core video products at the IGE show. Some of the many new titles on display include the Gangster Series™ (Choo Choo Conti™ and Tommy the Gun™); the Femme Felone™ Series (Night Shift™ and Object of Desire™); the Fortunes of the Deep™ Series (Atlantic and Mediterranean); Bally’s Money Multiplier™ Series (Mega Fruits™ and Fantastic Fruits™); and the Mega Winner™ Series (Sparkling Diamonds™, Hot Rocks™, Emerald Treasures™, and Mega Winner II™).

Wide Assortment of Mechanical-Reel Games Featured

Additionally, Bally will also feature games in its highly successful Quick Hit™ spinning-reel family, including Quick Hit 5X 10X™, Quick Hit Black&White™, and Quick Hit Blazing 7s™.

Systems and Server-Based Technology For Every Market

Bally highlights its dominance of the global systems market with its new world-class Version 11 SDS® slot-management system, which will be showcased at IGE. SDS, now available on a Microsoft® Windows® platform, delivers flexibility, easy maintainability, internationalization, as well as horizontal and vertical scalability for any size of casino operation. Thanks to its robust architecture, the SDS system can be fully integrated with many of the gaming industry`s most popular casino management systems.

Bally augments these core systems with a vast portfolio of award-winning technology solutions that will also be demonstrated at IGE.
