Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Awards ManTech $39 Million for Navy's Fleet Support Mission

HERNDON, Va., July 07, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD)/Combat Direction Systems Activity (CDSA), Dam Neck has awarded ManTech International Corporation MANT a five year, $39 million prime contract for the Navy's Fleet Support.

The mission of CDSA is to modernize and sustain systems on aircraft carriers, cruisers/destroyers, amphibious ships and submarines for the Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, Special Warfare, Coalition, and Joint Forces.

"ManTech has invested significantly in this area, with new facilities at both Dahlgren and Wallops, and we look forward to the expansion of our fleet support capabilities," said Daniel J. Keefe, president and chief operating officer of ManTech's Mission Solutions & Services Group.

Under this contract, ManTech will deliver expertise to the NSWCDD's computer build and installation program and documentation management capability to weapons and combat systems. This effort includes engineering expertise for naval ships worldwide, as required.
