KCG RELEASES APRIL 2017 TRADE VOLUMES
NEW YORK, N.Y. - May 12, 2017 - KCG Holdings, Inc. KCG today released trade volumes for the month of April 2017.
In Market Making, KCG averaged $26.3 billion dollar volume traded, 11.1 billion shares traded, and 3.3 million trades per day in U.S. equities.
In Global Execution Services:
- KCG Institutional Equities averaged 195.5 million U.S. equity shares traded per day
- KCG BondPoint averaged $344.5 million fixed income par value traded per day
As for the overall market conditions in April, consolidated U.S. equity volume averaged $261.9 billion in dollar volume and 6.6 billion shares traded per day. The realized volatility for the S&P 500 was 6.3.
In April there were 19 trading days in U.S. equities and 18.5 in fixed income.
