Southside Bancshares, Inc. Declares Fourth Quarter and Special Cash Dividends

TYLER, Texas, Nov. 08, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Board of Directors of Southside Bancshares, Inc., SBSI, parent company of Southside Bank declared a regular quarterly cash dividend of $0.30 per common share. In a separate action, the Board declared a special cash dividend of $0.02 per common share. The combined cash dividend of $0.32 is payable to common stock shareholders of record November 22, 2018.  The cash dividend is scheduled for payment on December 6, 2018. 

"The special cash dividend combined with the increase in the quarterly cash dividend during the second quarter of 2018 allows us to share our success this year with our shareholders and will increase our total cash dividend paid for 2018 to $1.20 compared to $1.11 in 2017," stated Lee R.
