Shares of Alarm.com ALRM are trading up over three percent after hours following a strong Q2 report. The home technology firm reported Q2 EPS $0.15 compared to expectations for $0.11. Sales ticked up sequential to $64.4 million versus expectations for $58.61 million.
SaaS and License revenues rose to $42 million compared to prior year of $34.1 million. Q3 Saas and Licensing revenues are expected to be between $43.8 million and $44 million.
FY 2016 EPS guidance was raised to $0.49-$0.51 versus estimates of $0.48. Prior EPS guidance had been for $0.44 to $0.49.
FY 2016 revenue guidance was raised to $242.3 million to $245.8 million versus estimates of $241.67 million. Prior guidance had been for $239 million to $242.5 million.
Shares of Alarm.com closed Monday's regular session up $2.10 or 6.81 percent to $32.93.
