Marriott International Inc (NASDAQ: MAR) shares dropped more than 5 percent in after-hours trading on Thursday after the Wall Street Journal reported Chinese firm Anbang Insurance Group had decided to walk away from its proposed acquisition offer for Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc (NYSE: HOT). Shares of Starwood fell 4.35 percent to $79.80 in after-hours trading, while Marriott shares declined 5.87 percent to $67.00 in the after-hours trading session.
Wall Street expects BlackBerry Ltd (NASDAQ: BBRY) to report a quarterly loss at $0.10 per share on revenue of $ 563.18 million. BlackBerry shares slipped 0.12 percent to $8.08 in after-hours trading.

Franklin Covey Co. (NYSE: FC) reported a Q2 loss of $0.03 per share on revenue of $45.26 million. Franklin Covey shares fell 0.90 percent to close at $17.59 yesterday.
Shares of Genocea Biosciences Inc (NASDAQ: GNCA) jumped around 95 percent on Thursday trading, reacting to the announcement of positive results in a Phase 2 clinical trial that evaluated GEN-003 for the treatment of genital herpes. Genocea Biosciences shares dropped 9.56 percent to $7.00 in pre-market trading.
