Must Watch Stocks for January 11, 2016

Some of the stocks that may grab investor focus today are: Wall Street expects Alcoa Inc AA to post its quarterly earnings at $0.02 per share on revenue of $5.29 billion. Alcoa shares dropped 2.48 percent to close at $8.06 on Friday. Analysts are expecting Apollo Education Group Inc APOL to have earned $0.31 per share on revenue of $610.42 million in the latest quarter. Apollo Education shares slipped 1.64 percent to close at $6.59 on Friday. Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. TMO agreed to acquire Affymetrix, Inc. AFFX for $1.3 billion in cash. Thermo Fisher shares fell 0.11 percent to close at $134.16 on Friday, while Affymetrix shares jumped 49.84 percent to $13.80 in the after-hours trading session. A Schulman Inc SHLM is estimated to report its quarterly earnings at $0.61 per share on revenue of $672.50 million. A Schulman shares dropped 1.48 percent to close at $28.61 on Friday. Twenty-First Century Fox Inc FOXA has made a new offer for Time Warner of $105 per share, a source familiar with the matter told Benzinga on Friday. The source said a deal could be done as early as next week. Twenty-First Century Fox shares fell 0.35 percent to $25.80 in after-hours trading. Analysts expect Team, Inc. TISI to post its quarterly earnings at $0.82 per share on revenue of $290.18 million. Team shares gained 0.11 percent to close at $28.13 on Friday.
