Berkshire Hathaway Inc. (NYSE: BRK-A) (NYSE: BRK-B) reported Q1 financial results Friday. Revenues came in at $48.644 billion, versus $45.453 billion in the first quarter of 2014. Operating EPS was $2.583 billion, above estimates of $2.373 billion and the $2.149 billion reported in the year-earlier period. Berkshire Hathaway shares closed at $143.36 on Friday.
Cognizant Technology Solutions Corp (NASDAQ: CTSH) is expected to report its Q1 earnings at $0.70 per share on revenue of $2.89 billion. Cognizant shares rose 1.02 percent to close at $59.14 on Friday.
Analysts are expecting Comcast Corporation (NASDAQ: CMCSA) to have earned $0.74 per share on revenue of $17.41 billion in the first quarter. Comcast shares rose 1.13 percent to close at $58.41 on Friday.
Anadarko Petroleum Corporation (NYSE: APC) is projected to post a Q1 loss at $0.65 per share on revenue of $2.52 billion. Anadarko Petroleum shares closed at $93.92 on Friday.
Analysts expect MGM Resorts International (NYSE: MGM) to report its Q1 earnings at $0.14 per share on revenue of $2.40 billion. MGM shares closed at $21.40 on Friday.
