Wall Street expects Molycorp, Inc. (NYSE: MCP) to post a Q4 loss at $0.21 per share. Molycorp shares surged 10.25% to close at $0.714 on Friday.
Stifel Financial Corp. (NYSE: SF) and Sterne Agee Group, Inc. announced that they have agreed to sell Sterne Agee's Institutional Equities business, including Equity Sales, Trading and Research to CRT Capital Group LLC. Stifel Financial shares fell 1.08% to close at $55.62 on Friday.
Analysts are expecting Aegean Marine Petroleum Network Inc. (NYSE: ANW) to have earned $0.22 per share on revenue of $1.67 billion in the fourth quarter. Aegean Marine Petroleum Network shares declined 1.10% to close at $13.49 on Friday.
Valeant Pharmaceuticals International (NYSE: VRX) is planning to raise its bid for Salix Pharmaceuticals Ltd. (NASDAQ: SLXP) to more than $160 per share, according to sources, as reported by the NY Times. Valeant shares climbed 2.50% to close at $197.43 on Friday, while Salix shares fell 0.38% to close at $169.40 on Friday.
Analysts expect Yingli Green Energy Holding Co. Ltd. (NYSE: YGE) to report a Q4 loss at $0.13 per share on revenue of $591.83 million. Yingli Green Energy shares fell 1.88% to close at $2.09 on Friday.
