Interactive Intelligence Group Inc. Beats Q3 Views

Interactive Intelligence Group Inc. ININ shares gained more than 7 percent in Monday's extended session after the company posted a narrower-than expected net loss on a 15 percent increase in third-quarter revenue. The Indianapolis-based provider of customer service software said cloud related revenue grew 70 percent while total orders increase 46 percent. Chief Executive Donald E. Brown said cloud-based products moved from less than half to more than two-thirds of total orders in the recent period. The company swung to a net loss of $2.1 million, or $0.10 cents a share, from net income of $1.6 million, or $0.08 a share in the year-earlier period. Revenue grew to $89.5 million from $78 million a year earlier. That compared with Wall Street's expection for a loss of $0.19 cents a share, on revenue of $84.16 million. Ineractive traded recently at $51.25 a share up 7.44 percent.
