Stocks To Watch For October 8, 2014

Some of the stocks that may grab investor focus today are: Wall Street expects Alcoa AA to post its Q3 earnings at $0.23 per share on revenue of $5.85 billion. Alcoa shares rose 0.50% to $16.03 in after-hours trading. Yum! Brands YUM reported weak third-quarter results and lowered its 2014 earnings forecast. Same-store sales in China declined 14% in the third quarter. Yum shares gained 1.03% to $70.45 in the after-hours trading session. Analysts are expecting Costco Wholesale COST to have earned $1.52 per share on revenue of $35.47 billion in the fourth quarter. Costco shares gained 0.26% to $125.59 in after-hours trading. Kraft Foods Group KRFT lifted its quarterly dividend by 5% to $0.55 per share. Kraft shares rose 0.42% to $55.80 in the after-hours trading session. Analysts expect Monsanto Company MON to report a Q4 loss at $0.24 per share on revenue of $2.42 billion. Monsanto shares declined 2.02% to close at $108.23 yesterday.
