Some of the stocks that may grab investor focus today are:
Wall Street expects Team (NYSE: TISI) to post its Q1 earnings at $0.34 per share on revenue of $194.55 million. Team shares climbed 1.57% to close at $38.06 on Friday.
Becton Dickinson & Co (NYSE: BDX) announced its plans to acquire CareFusion (NYSE: CFN) for $12.2 billion in cash and stock. Becton Dickinson shares rose 1.51% to close at $115.84 on Friday, while CareFusion shares gained 1.83% to close at $46.17 on Friday.
Analysts are expecting IDT (NYSE: IDT) to have earned $0.37 per share on revenue of $408.40 million in the fourth quarter. IDT shares gained 0.06% to close at $16.17 on Friday.
Hewlett-Packard (NYSE: HPQ) plans to separate its PC and printer businesses from its corporate hardware business and other units, according to the WSJ. Hewlett-Packard shares fell 0.34% to $35.08 in the after-hours trading session.
Analysts expect Container Store Group (NYSE: TCS) to post its Q2 earnings at $0.11 per share on revenue of $199.24 million. Container Store shares rose 1.25% to close at $22.77 on Friday.
