VeriFone shares rose 0.03% to $34.55 in after-hours trading. PVH PVH reported better-than-expected second-quarter earnings. The company expected earnings growth of more than 15% for the second half of 2014. PVH shares jumped 7.79% to $126.25 in the after-hours trading session. Analysts are expecting Ciena CIEN to have earned $0.29 per share on revenue of $600.81 million in the third quarter. Ciena shares gained 0.15% to $20.49 in after-hours trading. Shares of Tibco Software TIBX climbed more than 10% in after-hours trading on news the company hired an investment bank to explore strategic options. Tibco shares surged 10.27% to $23.20 in the after-hours trading session. Analysts expect Joy Global JOY to report its Q3 earnings at $0.84 per share on revenue of $934.25 million. Joy Global shares declined 0.58% to close at $62.20 yesterday. Teledyne Technologies TDY announced its plans to acquire Bolt Technology BOLT for $22 per share. Bolt shares climbed 38.84% to $21.71 in the after-hours trading session, while Teledyne shares fell 0.29% to close at $97.40 yesterday. UTi Worldwide UTIW is projected to report its Q2 earnings at $0.01 per share on revenue of $1.14 billion. UTi Worldwide shares dropped 0.22% to close at $9.07 yesterday.
