Stocks To Watch For July 9, 2014

MSC Industrial shares rose 0.37% to close at $93.38 yesterday. Alcoa AA reported stronger-than-expected fiscal second-quarter results. Alcoa posted its adjusted earnings of $0.18 per share on revenue of $5.85 billion. However, analysts were projecting earnings of $0.12 per share on revenue of $5.63 billion. Alcoa shares climbed 1.14% to $15.02 in the after-hours trading session. The Container Store Group TCS reported a wider-than-expected fiscal first-quarter loss and issued a downbeat forecast for full year 2014. Container Store Group shares dipped 17.77% to $22.26 in the after-hours trading session. Analysts are expecting Helen of Troy HELE to have earned $0.93 per share on revenue of $314.55 million in the first quarter. Helen of Troy shares fell 1.09% to close at $60.02 yesterday. AeroVironment AVAV reported upbeat fiscal fourth-quarter results. AeroVironment reported its quarterly earnings of $0.35 per share on revenue of $73.5 million. AeroVironment shares jumped 6.43% to $32.95 in the after-hours trading session. Analysts expect WD-40 Company WDFC to post its Q3 earnings at $0.72 per share on revenue of $99.16 million. WD-40 Company shares gained 0.11% to close at $75.66 yesterday.
