Yahoo reported its adjusted earnings of $0.38 per share on revenue of $1.09 billion. However, analysts were estimating a profit of $0.37 per share on revenue of $1.08 billion. Yahoo shares jumped 6.84% to $36.55 in the after-hours trading session. Analysts are expecting Google GOOGL to have earned $6.40 per share on revenue of $15.52 billion in the latest quarter. Google shares gained 0.78% to $553.00 in after-hours trading. Intel INTC reported upbeat first-quarter earnings. Intel shares gained 1.49% to $27.17 in the after-hours trading session. Analysts expect Abbott Laboratories ABT to report its Q1 earnings at $0.36 per share on revenue of $5.28 billion. Abbott shares climbed 0.47% to $38.15 in after-hours trading.
