Stocks To Watch For February 20, 2014

Some of the stocks that may grab investor focus today are: Wall Street expects Wal-Mart Stores WMT to report its Q4 earnings at $1.59 per share on revenue of $130.23 billion. Wal-Mart shares gained 0.19% to $74.99 in after-hours trading. Tesla Motors TSLA reported better-than-expected fourth-quarter results. Tesla shares surged 12.63% to $218.09 in the after-hours trading session. Analysts are expecting Hewlett-Packard Company HPQ to have earned $0.84 per share on revenue of $27.19 billion in the first quarter. Hewlett-Packard shares rose 0.48% to $29.59 in after-hours trading. Facebook FB announced its plans to buy popular messaging service WhatsApp for $19 billion in cash and stock. Facebook will pay $12 billion in stock and $4 billion in cash, plus $3 billion in restricted stock units, to buy WhatsApp. Facebook shares declined 2.67% to $66.24 in the after-hours trading session. Analysts expect DIRECTV DTV to report its Q4 earnings at $1.28 per share on revenue of $8.47 billion. DIRECTV shares climbed 1.45% to $74.00 in after-hours trading.
